Patricia Urquiola is an architect and designer born in 1961. Spanish by birth and Italian by choice, she is known for working with famous firms the like of Cappellini, Cassina, Kettal and B&B Italia.

Urquiola’s Formation between Spain and Italy
Patricia Urquiola was born inOviedo, Spainin1931. She studiedArchitecture at the Politecnico of Madridat first, and later atPolitecnico in Milan, where she graduated in Architecture and Design in1989with阿喀琉斯卡斯蒂格利奥尼. After occupying the role of assistant lecturer for Castiglioni and collaborating withVico MagistrettiandLissoni Associatesshe opened her own studio in 2001, working in the field of product design and architecture.
Among her most recent works, there is the“Jewel” museum in Vicenza,as well as theMandarin Oriental Hotelin Barcelona, theDas Stue Hotelin Berlin and theSpa Four Seasons Hotelin Milan.
